On to week two of the Florida swing with the crew in Orlando for the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard. Nineteen TGL players were in the field but it was Shane Lowry who kicked the tournament off with a first-round 66. He remained at the top of the leaderboard through the weekend, eventually finishing third behind winner Scottie Scheffler (-15) and Wyndham Clark (-10).

Lowry has had two strong finishes in a row as he approches the halfway mark on the Florida swing with a T4 finish at the Cognizant Classic of the Palm Beaches last week.

Atlanta Drive GC

Patrick Cantlay, Lucas Glover and Justin Thomas were all in attendance at API in Orlando and combined the trio have 15 made cuts out of 17 starts so far this season. All three players made the cut again this weekend with JT leading the pack at -3 (T12). Glover finished at +1, and Cantlay at +2.

Boston Common Golf

The Ballfrogs' own Rory McIlroy unleashed a stellar tee shot on the par 4, 10th hole on Saturday to stun everyone and drive the green, becoming the first to do so in the ShotLink era. He walked away with a birdie and was in the chase group Sunday, ultimately finishing at -1.

Keegan Bradley had an eventful week as the fan favorite of Netflix's "Full Swing" season 2 and he made his fourth cut of the year to finish +2.

Several TGL players played in the Seminole Pro-Member in Juno Beach, Florida, last week. Tiger Woods made his debut at the event to play alongisde PGA of America CEO Seth Waugh and Atlanta Drive's Justin Thomas.

TGL Commits

Wyndham Clark, who took the win at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, played strong all week in Orlando to become TGL's top finisher in solo second place at API.

It was an impressive T8 for Max Homa last week as he began his Florida swing. To make it even more memorable, he sat with Smylie Kaufman during Friday's broadcast to try his hand at commentating. We'll see plenty more mic'd up Max when TGL starts in January.
